45 participants selected for the Brussels Voice 23 panel!

Registrations for Brussels Voice 23 closed on 16 July, and we received almost 600 valid applications! This wave of enthusiasm shows just how important it is to ensure that the international communities of Brussels can speak up on regional policy. Thanks you to everyone who signed up!

We have now carried out the random selection, carefully observed by representatives of both commissioner.brussels and the Brussels Parliament. By applying the demographic criteria announced in the call for candidates, we have now chosen a diverse and representative group of 45 members for the Brussels Voice 23 panel!

Sadly this means many people who registered will not be able to join the sessions, but everyone who registered will have an impact: it’s their votes which will decide which topic we will work on in Brussels Voice 23.

See you in September!

Selected participants have already been informed. The panel will get down to work in September and finish with our deliberative session at the Brussels Parliament on 14 October. This second cycle of Brussels Voice will give new life to the ideas in your Manifesto of the International Brusseler, and once again show what a valuable contribution our diverse population can make.

If you haven’t already, come see how members of the regional government are replying to the ideas in your Manifesto of the International Brusseler. Otherwise, sign up to the newsletter and stay tuned for more news about Brussels Voice 23, updates on regional policy and invitations to future events.
